Field Service Engineer Baseline Conference

Field Service Engineer Baseline Conference

Supporting our customers is always top of mind at ACI. Whether virtual, or in the field, ACI strives to provide the best possible support to our customers. With that in mind our team of Field Service Engineers, along with several members of the Cloud Team held an internal Baseline Conference.

The goal for the two-week conference was simple, gain critical knowledge on the overall employment, intended use, and systematic dependencies of the Nett Warrior 3.0.7.3 system baseline. The primary focus was developing an overall understanding of our production processes and system dependencies. The secondary focus provided an overview of production and development documentation required by our customers.

The first week was dedicated to cataloging intended operational use of Nett Warrior fielded equipment. The team worked on core tasks relating to End User Devices (EUDs), Nett Warrior Mission Planner (NMPs), and Tactical Radio Integration Kit (TRIK) Ultra-Light (TUL) using already configured equipment to validate system configuration. Week one wrapped up with an overview of common configuration errors and troubleshooting techniques.

The second week was broken into two sections, provisioning and architecture, with a focus on how ACI provisions the three fielded hardware solutions. The team also spent time discussing ITN Architecture data flow and 3rd party software request processes and integration efforts.

This conference was a great opportunity to bring the team together to focus on improving our support to the customer. We’ll continue that theme with the next Baseline Conference, which will include coordinated blocks of instruction for the same systems to ensure that our Field Service Representatives are providing the same high level of support that our customers have come to expect from ACI.
