Team ACI recently welcomed Colonel Anthony Gibbs, the project manager for Project Manager Soldier Warrior (PM SWAR), as well as Lieutenant Colonel Christian Hasbach, the Product Manager Soldier Maneuver Sensors (PdM SMS), to ACI’s Systems Integration Laboratory Annex in Fayetteville, NC.
Team ACI provided detailed education and training on key NETT Warrior equipment and concepts. Several important topics we’re discussed, to include, EUD-L, ATAK, CWB cables, 163 Radio vs Wi-Fi integration and usage, TRIK, and application management to name a few. The team also discussed the latest in drone capability with the Indiago3 asset. During the afternoon session, the group reviewed and discussed Sensor Solider, Third Party, and Watch Tower topics, leading to valuable conversations on the best ways to employ emerging technologies.
PM SWAR’s mission is to rapidly deliver and sustain innovative solutions for Soldiers that enable maneuver and lethal effects on enemy forces. PM SWAR includes three product manager teams: Product Manager Integrated Visual Augmentation System (PdM IVAS), Product Manager Soldier Maneuver Sensors (PdM SMS) and Product Manager Soldier Precision Targeting Devices (PdM SPTD)
PdM SMS is a product management office within the Program Executive Office, Soldier (PEO Soldier) portfolio, with a mission to rapidly deliver integrated sensors that enable the Soldier system to detect and engage first against all threats. The product manager’s portfolio includes the Enhanced Night Vision Goggle-Binocular (ENVG-B), Soldier Borne Sensor (SBS), Night Vision Device-Next (NVD-N), Fused Awareness System (FAS) and NETT Warrior.
